Ireland by the numbers
In our effort to show just how affordable travel can really be, we've kept a detailed spreadsheet of all our expenses. We only got to spend 2 days in Ireland, and spent a total of $308.35 while there. During our visit to Ireland, one Euro was equal to $1.31 USD. All amounts listed have been converted to USD. Keep reading for a breakdown of our expenses:
In Dublin we only rode on 3 buses, preferring to walk everywhere else due to the cost, and because Dublin was surprisingly easy to walk around. We traveled a total of 27 miles while in Ireland.
$0.00 spent on FLIGHTS

$103.30 spent on LODGING

*Please note that the cost of airfare to get to/from Ireland is not included in this breakdown, only airfare spent for in country flights. For a more thorough breakdown of all our expenses over the entire trip, click here.
