Malaysia by the numbers

In our effort to show just how affordable travel can really be, we've kept a detailed spreadsheet of all our expenses.  We spent 16 days in Malaysia, and spent a total of $467.87 while there.  During our visit to Malasyia, one Malay Ringit was equal to $0.28 USD.  All amounts listed have been converted to USD.  Keep reading for a breakdown of our expenses:

This means in Malaysia we spent an average of $29.24 per day.  Or 14.62 per person per day.
